ECCLESIOLOGICAL ETCHINGS

Holy and Magnificent God, you are forever inviting us into a more faithful walk with you, hoping that we will be able to live a life that both reflects and honors the life of Jesus. What we do today does not simply impact today. No matter how insignificant a decision might be, it has repercussions well beyond this day. Keep us mindful of how we can use all of what we have, all of who we are—the gifts of the head, heart, and hands, along with the gifts found in the wallet and the will. May we also be mindful of how our choices, both big and small, will have lasting implications for the most vulnerable among us. There is potential for longterm injury, but there is also the possibility for enduring health and genuine transformation. This is our hope and prayer offered to the glory and honor of Jesus. Amen.
