ECCLESIOLOGICAL ETCHINGS
March 3, 2025 Prayer for the Week: Most of us are busy, God, though busy looks different from one person to the next. Yet there are days, Lord, when our usual busyness sees more busyness, so often in the form of heaviness that comes with a family member who is sick. Maybe our own health concerns are in a holding pattern as we run from one test to another. There might be fears about our financial situation in spite of taking on the second job, or the kids needing to be run from baseball practice to music lessons to youth group. Busy is hard enough, God, but there are days when our busyness sees more busyness and so many other things, important things, are put on hold. We say this to you, Merciful God, because we are asking you to help us find another couple of minutes to just rest in your love. We don’t really have the time, but for the sake of our health, we hope to find it. Amen.
